A brief summary of the idea behind the episode. Spoilers are avoided, but only in this section.

A listing of the credits given on screen at the start of each episode, seperated into those that are consistent for the whole season, and those that apply only to individual episodes. Where appropriate (as in the case of recurring characters), further information is given in square brackets.

Straczynski has said that "world building is a hobby" of his, and although not on the galactic scale of Babylon 5, this is no less true of Jeremiah. This section lists anything we discover about the world of Jeremiah during an episode.

Jeremiah is a character-driven story, and the history and personality of many of the characters has wider importance that just to serve the plot. Here's what we find out about the people of Jeremiah's world during an episode.

Funny lines, important revelations, grandstanding speeches and odd little exchanges are collected here.

Jeremiah is a literate show; most episodes contain some political, cultural or artistic referencing. This section discusses the significance of some of these allusions. In the case of Straczynski episodes, these will often include parallels between Babylon 5 and Jeremiah.

Speculation about where the story's going, how the episode fits with previous ones, interesting parallels that emerge, and generally anything that doesn't fit under any of the other headings.

Nobody's perfect - this is the place for plot holes, contradictions, missing explanations and clumsy bits.

A rating on a five-star scale in the margin, and a brief account of what I liked or disliked most about the episode.

Five stars Unmissable
Four stars Very good
Three stars Has its moments
Two stars Weak
One star Unwatchable
